The 2.3-kilometer runway and taxi ways of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport will be fixed due to the presence of potholes from September 1 to September 21.
The scheduled repair will be implemented from 1:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Airline companies were earlier advised by the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) to allow rebooking of their affected flights.
Passengers are advised to be present at the airport five hours earlier for international flights, and at least four hours for domestic flights.
Personnel from the MCIAA inspected the runway on Thursday morning (August 30).
