DANIEL Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo have proven that are they indeed the Box Office King and Queen.
Their newest movie under Star Cinema “The Hows Of Us” earned P35,938,622.74 on its opening day on August 29.
According to Star Cinema, the film beat the opening day record of another KathNiel film, 2017’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love” which was P33 million.
Other KathNiel films which earned huge on their opening day were: “Crazy Beautiful You” (P32 million) in 2015 and “Barcelona: A Love Untold” (P23 million) in 2016.
Bernardo shared the good news on her Instagram account yesterday.
“HINDI KO TO KINAKAYA. Ibang klase kayo. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU,” she said.
The film’s director Cathy Garcia Molina, who directed the loveteam in the 2013 film, “She’s Dating the Gangster” also expressed gratitude through an Instagram post yesterday morning.
“MARAMING SALAMAT PO!!! Nakakaiyak naman to!!! Thank you LORD,” she said.
