Two suspected drug sellers arrested in Talisay City

Two suspects were arrested for allegedly selling illegal drugs in Sitio Kilawan, Barangay Tangke, Talisay City, Cebu at past 3 a.m. on Tuesday (September 4).

The suspects were identified as Jerome Alferez, 25, a resident of Sitio Kilawan, Barangay Tangke; and Jayson Lumapis, 31, a resident of Riverside, San Fernando, Cebu.

Supt. Marlu Conag, Talisay City police head, said that they received an information from a concerned citizen who reported regarding the illegal drug transaction involving the suspects.

Alferez was caught in posession of three small sachets of suspected shabu.

Confiscated from the possession of Lumapis were two small plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.

The suspects are now under the custody of Talisay City police pending the filing of harges against them.
