CIT – U opened its 72nd Colors Day and Intramurals on Augsut 24 with the theme: Harnessing Opportunities and Potentials for Excellent Services.
The opening ceremonies started with the Parade of Athletes. The declaration of the Opening of Intramurals, the Oath of Sportsmanship, and the Lighting of Torch then followed. The highlight of the event was the search for the Ms. Intramurals 2018.
College of Computer Studies representative, Ms. Gaudine Moana Cristy B. Buron was declared as Darling of the Press. She received a bouquet and a certificate for an overnight stay for two at Hotel Pillows, courtesy of Cebu Daily News. The Darling of the Press was chosen by representatives from the Technologian Student Press.
Eiane C. Nuñez, representative of the College of Engineering and Architecture, who was Ms. Lakambini 2018, also emerged as Ms. Intramurals 2018. Nuñez received a gift certificate for a dinner buffet for two at Puso Bistro & Bar, Quest Hotel, courtesy of Cebu Daily News; a cash prize of 5,000 Php; and a sash and bouquet. Judges of Ms. Intramurals 2018 were Ms. Ma. Raina Romana Villamor Jereza, Ms. Gazini Christiana Ganados, and Mr. Bonafer Nacorda.
Non-winners received also a gift certificate from the Cebu Daily News for a dinner buffet for two at Le’Mon Restaurant, Golden Prince Hotel & Suites.
