It’s a dream come true for Kelsey Merritt as she is set to walk in this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
“WE DID IT PHILIPPINES!!!!!!” the Filipino-American model wrote on Instagram Friday. “What an honor it is to be the first Filipino to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018!!!”

She showed gratitude to the people with her for “believing in me and being there for me throughout this journey!!” Merritt also thanked her followers and dedicated her upcoming walk to them.
Merritt also posted her reaction upon learning she got the job and receiving a bouquet of flowers.

Previously, Merritt posted how she was ready for the runway for her callbacks in the fashion show.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is an annual event wherein the brand showcases its newest line of lingerie. Models such as Tyra Banks, Behati Prinsloo, Heidi Klum and Lily Aldridge have walked down the runway of the prestigious fashion show.
