Mabolo Barangay Captain Niña Mabatid has asked the Cebu City Government to install closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in her village following the death of a call center agent last week.

Mabatid said there are just no enough village tanods to do roving patrol at night.

While the village chief observed that policemen have been visible on the streets, Mabatid said not a single policeman was near the place where the victim, Loraine Temple, was robbed and killed.
