PJ Garcia believes disqualification case vs him will not prosper

Former Congressman Pablo John Garcia expressed optimism that the petition to disqualify him in next year’s elections will not prosper.

In a statement, he said he complied with all the requirements in transferring his Voter’s Registration from Dumanjug to Barili.

Pablo John is running for representative of Cebu’s third district.

Dumanjug is one of the towns of the 7th district while Barili belongs to the third district.

A concerned citizen filed a disqualification case against Pablo John, stating that Garcia applied for a transfer of his Voter’s Registration on July 28, 2018 and failed to comply with the basic one-year residency of the place where he seeks to be releected.
