Miss Philippines Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell and Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Tiffany Janson visited City Hall to thank the city government for supporting their pageant bids.

Herrell was crowned last May 11 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
After her speech, city councilors took turns having their pictures taken with her.
Herrell will represent the country in the Miss Earth 2014 pagaent.
Janson, who came in a black dress also gave a brief speech before the local legislature. She was previously crowned Miss Cebu 2009 during the Sinulog.
“It may seem really small for other people, but for me, as someone who is there to compete, it’s really helpful knowing that someone is behind you, and they give you the support that you need,” Janson said of the Cebuano community.
Born and raised in Cebu, she said she feels proud to represent the island in the national competition and eventually, the country in the Miss Intercontinental 2014 in Germany later this year.
