MOTOR Image Pilipinas, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, just announced that Subaru has made safety and comfort upgrades for the WRX and WRX STI.

The two Subaru performance models are engineered for maximum excitement thanks to its powerful turbocharged boxer engine down and road holding signature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD) system.

Both models will now come with a new 8-inch high resolution display head unit and Harman Kardon audio system to make sure you get the most out of your on board entertainment system.

Aside from Bluetooth Pairing via NFC, the system supports Apple Car Play and Android Auto as well. A front grille camera has also been added which projects the vehicle’s forward view, increasing visibility at intersections and when parking facing a wall.

The new WRX 2.0 CVT has the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology available in the WRX. A second pair of eyes that alerts you to take action on potential hazards.

It also comes with an Electronic Parking Brake and Auto Vehicle Hold designed to reduce driver fatigue by holding the car still even when the foot is removed from the pedal not just on inclines but on all road grades while keeping a seamless transition upon acceleration.
Meanwhile, the WRX STI 2.5 M/T has restyled interior trims and stock full leather front-seats with lumbar support. The newly mounted sunroof allows natural lighting and fresh airflow adding more comfort to long haul drives with this rally-bred sedan.
