A POLICE officer was shot dead yesterday morning by another police officer inside Camp Bagong Diwa, headquarters of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) in Taguig City.
According to a report, Police Officer 1 Mark Carlo Pasamba, 29, who is assigned at the 4th Mobile Force Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion, sustained three gunshot wounds in the body.
The suspect was identified as Police Officer 1 Carlos Aljama, 31, who is assigned at the Administrative Holding Office of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
The shooting happened at around 8:35 a.m. near the Camp Bagong Diwa tennis court.
Police said Aljama had accused her wife of allegedly having an affair with Pasamba.
PO1 Louie Collisao, who witnessed the shooting said Aljama first confronted the victim before shooting him.
