Lapu police nab widow with almost P600K worth of shabu, jail four cohorts

A 64-year-old widow and four others were arrested by the Lapu-Lapu City police in a buy-bust operation in Purok Yakal, Barangay Poblacion early on Sunday morning (December 2).

Chief Insp. Jaime Tolentino said they recovered 18 medium packs of suspected shabu with an estimated value of close to P600,000 from the subject of their operation whom he identified as Patricia Lim.

Police also confiscated P900 cash from the suspect.

Tolentino said that Lim earns from her illegal drugs business to support her needs.

Police are now preparing a complaint for the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against Lim and four other suspects.
