By: Chito O. Aragon February 25,2014 - 07:00 AM

The police task force investigating the murder of lawyer Noel Archival now has the plate numbers of the cars used in the ambush-slay.

Supt. Renato Malazarte, spokesman of the task group, said they are now coordinating with the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) and Land Transportation Office (LTO) to identify the owners of the two cars.

But Malazarte admitted that there were three vehicles used in the ambush. Images of the vehicles  were captured by a  CCTV camera  in one of the towns in south Cebu.

Malazarte, who is also a deputy chief of Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) assured the public that they will not stop their investigation until cases are filed against the assailants.

No deadlines

Meanwhile, Chief Supt. Danilo Constantino, director of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 said he is satisfied with his men’s performance in the investigation.
He is not giving his men a time frame to finish the investigation as long as the results will be air tight.

Archival came from a hearing in Dumaguete City when the Ford  Escape he was riding was ambushed in Coro, Dalaguete town last week.
