Tigers dominate Season 14 of Elite Basketball Club Cebu City

CEBU CITY, Philippines – The Tigers secured their third win as they overcame the Wolves, 99-89, in the Elite Basketball Club Cebu City – Season 14 held on Friday, March 22, at the Visayan Glass Gym in Barangay Guadalupe.

Christopher Obeso fired in 30 points to carry the fight for the Tigers, which trailed by double-digits in the first canto but pulled in front in the third and never let up until the final buzzer.

Joel Bensig added 26 points while Jojie Bas put up 23 to help the Tigers bring their win-loss record to 3-1 while the Wolves dropped to an even 2-2.

In another game, the Lions grabbed their second victory in a row as they tore apart the Rams, 89-79.

Former Don Bosco big man Jefford Aldave scored 21 points while Jon Chua put up 14 markers.
