After Partido Barug-PDP Laban staged twin proclamation rallies on March 29,
it is now time for Bando Osmeña-Pundok Kauswagan (BO-PK) to face the voting public in a “kick-off rally.”

Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña, through his official Facebook page, said BO-PK’s proclamation rally will be held at the Cebu City Sports Center on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 4 p.m.

In his post, Osmeña referred to the Cebu City Sports Center as “Abellana.” The sports center was formerly called Abellana Sports Complex.

Osmeña said everybody is welcomed to join the event.

“We would like to invite you to come and share in our plans, our visions, and our dreams for Cebu, and how everyday must be better than the last,” he wrote.

In the comments section of the post, Osmeña wrote that the rally will have fireworks, which will be provided by “a friend.”

A certain James Pabonita Academia wrote a comment suggesting that a debate between Osmeña’s camp and the opposition party be organized for people to see who is better.

“Ako ready ko anytime. Ang pikas lang pangutan-on,” was Osmeña’s reply.

(I am ready anytime. You have to ask the other party.)

In relation to the kick-off rally, Osmeña wrote that parking will be available for those who will attend. But it will be on a first come, first serve basis.

He said the rally will end by 7 p.m. as they respect the observance of Earth Hour, a global movement that encourages individuals, groups and business to turn off their lights at 8:30 p.m. today, March 30, 2019.
