Mighty Technologians move up in Labangon hoops

Cebu City, Philippines — The Mighty Technologians continue to move up the standings as they took down Almier, 108-101, in the Barangay Labangon Basketball Association 2019 First Conference on Monday, April 1, 2019, at the Labangon Gym.

Five players put up double-figures in scoring led by former Letran Knights guard JP Alcaraz who had 28 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and six steals in an eye-popping performance that helped the Technologians raise their record to 4-2 (win-loss), the same as their victims.

In the night’s other match, Eyeberry/Elijah Homes defeated the JG Tours Warriors, 117-102, to even their record up at 3-3. Richard Gubaton exploded for 32 points while Ramesh Mulchandani added 20. Jonel Villarosa also put up 14 points to keep JG Tours winless in six outings so far. /bmjo
