Batch 2000 pulls off 80-75 win over Batch 2002 in Badboys Wingz Cup

Cebu City, Philippines — Batch 2000 had three players score at least 20 points to tow them to an 80-75 victory over Batch 2002 at the start of the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association Summer League 2019 Badboys Wingz Cup last Sunday, April 7, 2019, at the Lux Oriens Gym in Canduman, Mandaue City.
Sergs Go Bui and Dave Ting each had 22 points while wide-bodied forward Joseph Lo put up an incredible line of 20 points, 15 rebounds and five assists to help 2000 come away with the win.
In another game, 2009 slipped past 2012, 81-78, behind the 26 points and eight rebounds of Niel Benedicto.
Ian Roma also added 20 markers to spoil the 30-point performance of 2012’s Dandan Tecson.
2008 also got an 83-73 win over 2011 as Ed Macasling put up 24 points, six rebounds and six assists.
2013 won over 2006, 64-49, as Jacob Lee scored 15 while Fletcher Galvez collected 14 points and 13 rebounds. /bmjo
