Gasoline pump attendant dies in SRP vehicular accident

CEBU CITY, Philippines — A gasoline pump attendant died after he was crushed by a cement-mixer truck at the South Road Properties (SRP) in Cebu City at around noon on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

The Mambaling traffic police identified the victim as Gemson Luchavez, who was onboard a motorcycle on his way to Talisay City.

The driver of the truck, Abundio Tampipi, 41, said he noticed the motorcycle Luchavez was on was wobbling behind him.

He said shortly after, Luchavez allegedly hit his truck and fell underneath the wheels of the massive vehicle.

Luchavez died on the spot. /bmjo
