ALL is set for the Lumba’g Laag sa Sugbo – A Race to Cebu’s Hidden Attractions of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry that is part of this year’s Cebu Business Month activity with the theme “INNOVATION IN ACTION.”
Lumba’g Laag sa Sugbo – A Race to Cebu’s Hidden Attractions, will happen on June 21 to 23, 2019 covering the northern part of Cebu province and will bring in 25 teams competing against each other in performing tasks and routines.
The 3-day and 2-night adventure is expected to have 100 participants, composed of 25 teams with 4 members each, CCCI members and non-members, students, adventure enthusiasts, tourism organizations, local government units, tourism officers and stakeholders.
This aims to promote and showcase Cebu’s tourism attractions: destinations, food, culture, and heritage through camaraderie and adventure.
“LUMBAG LAAG SA SUGBO now on its 3rd year continuous to unravel the unexplored beauty of Cebu in terms of destinations, culture, food and heritage in an Amazing Race inspired event.” said Lumba’g Laag sa Sugbo Chairman Edilberto Mendoza, Jr. He is also the General Manager of Level Up Events Consultancy.
The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in celebration of the Cebu Business Month 2019 has collaborated with Habagat Outdoor Equipment to come up with a more innovative, challenging and more explorative and explosive race fit to be considered one of the most anticipated and talked about events of CBM 2019.
“This event is a perfect avenue for companies to participate and strengthen their teams making them more ready to face on challenging times ahead.” he added.
In a tribute to AXN’s Amazing Race and Suroy-Suroy Sugbo, this interactive event gathers participants from companies and adventure enthusiasts alike. It will highlight the different ‘hidden’ attractions to discover and experience in Cebu’s up North.
Registration fee is P25,000 per team, which already covers one team of four racers, two-night accommodation, meal provisions, two sets of jersey, and race materials.
The team must be composed of four members with at least one of the opposite gender and one or two designated licensed drivers.
Big cash prizes await winners: the champion will win P100,000, first runner-up gets P60,000 and for the second runner-up is P30,000.
