Another LBC branch was robbed past 12 noon today.

Robbers took P42,000 from the LBC Taboan branch in Abella Street, Cebu City.

According to LBC staff Danessa Zafra two robbers were involved in the crime. Zafra, who was attending two customers at that time, said one robber stayed near the door, while the other pointed a gun to her, and demanded sje hand over money from various money counters and from the vault.

She said the robbers did not wear any mask. At the time of the incident, she said she was the only one left because her colleague was in a meeting. She also added that they do not have a security guard.

Zafra said one of the robbers appeared to be in his late 20s while the other was in his early 50s.

On their escape, Zafra said she was not able to see where the suspects were heading because they were threatened not to go out of the establishment. One of the robbers yelled on his way out, “Wala’y mo gawas, ha. Wala’y mo sunod!” (Nobody should follow. Nobody should get out!).

Zafra said the establishment across their branch has a CCTV camera and may have recorded the robbers either on their way in or way out.

Last Friday, an LBC branch in barangay Tabok, Mandaue City was also robbed.
