Fire hits surplus shops in Mandaue City

A fire razed establishments in barangay Casuntingan, Mandaue City at 3 p.m. today.

Among those hit were the BMC building and a surplus shop in sitio Telecom.

The fire razed tires and surplus vehicles that caused the thick black smoke making it difficult to douse off the fire.

Fire trucks from Consolacion town, Lapu-Lapu City and Talisay City arrived to put out the fire which was controlled at 3:45 p.m., the Mandaue City Fire Department said.
