Bonono pads lead

University of Southern Philippines-Foundation (USP-F) Panthers’ Edmar Bonono padded his lead further in the Cebu City “Million League” standings, otherwise known as the Cebu City Olympic Qualifiers/PNG Qualifying tournament for beach volleyball, yesterday at the Philippine Sports Commission’s sand court in Fort San Pedro.

Bonono added more points to his name as the event reverted to the King of the Beach volleyball format as per order of PSC beach volleyball consultant Eric Lecain.

Bonono, who scored a total of 215 points on Sunday, upped his total to 275 points after accumulating 21, 20 and 19 points in the three games he played yesterday. alongside different playing partners in the King of the Beach volley format.

His USP-F teammate Edward Ybañez also increased his total points to 229 yesterday to maintain his no. 2 position. Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras’ Rommel Pepito is currently at third with 222 points.
