With the launching of its new facility on October 18, 2019 at One Montage in Cebu City, Dover Business Services (DBS), an American Company, is looking forward to expand its manpower in the coming years.
The company currently has 200 employees in Cebu. With the launching in of its new office, DBS now has about 400 workstations, including its old office at FLB Center that has the capability of hiring more people as the company continues to grow.
According to Jing Cubos, DBS Philippines site director, the company’s expansion of talent in the city led to the construction of their new site in One Montage.
“As the company continues to expand, we are targeting to hire about 100 people in the near future,” said Cubos.
Another factor that contributed to the company’s expansion is Cebu’s supply of talents that specializes in accountancy and other related fields.
Perjay Dagat, the company’s human resource chief, said that more than half of the company’s employees are graduates of finance and business related courses.
DBS opened its services center in the city to provide support functions for accounts payable, general ledgers, and accounts receivables. It ultimately expands to other functions in payroll, business controls, e-commerce, leasing and voice support for customer management.
Now, DBS has three global locations in Cincinnati, Ohio; in Suzhou, China; and here in Cebu./bmo
