LOOK: Wedding proposal during LANY concert in Cebu

CEBU CITY, Philippines—Singing, dancing, drinking, screaming.
These are the things you’d expect to see in a concert.
But every now and then, you’ll be able witness something different. Something like a wedding proposal.
Yup! This happened in the LANY concert in Cebu last February 2, 2020 at the SM Seaside City Cebu grounds.
Joshua Varela, 28, one of the thousands concert-goers witnessed this special moment and shared it to CDN Digital.
“Before the last song, ILYSB, his lady actually said her feet were tired and she wanted to move to the exit early. He didn’t lead her out but bent on one knee before the last chorus. Everyone around went crazy,” shares Varela.

Varela told CDN Digital that after the “popping the question” moment, the couple hugged and–as if the planets aligned for them that night–the fireworks went off.
“The fireworks went off before the song’s outro. We were all congratulating them, people they didn’t know. It was nice of them to share that experience with us,” adds Varela.
Valera shared the moment on his Facebook account on February 3, 2020 and as of February 4, 2020, it has already reached 4,900 reactions and 8,600 shares.
Varela, though, didn’t get the names of the couple. But we’re pretty sure the two are happy in love after that unforgettable experience.
