CEBU CITY, Philippines — One of the persons under monitoring (PUMs) who is quarantined at a Capitol-owned facility is completing the 14-day quarantine period on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Christina Giango said Wednesday marks the 14th day of the PUM inside the facility.

The PUM did not manifest any symptoms of the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19), Gianggo said.

There are currently 15 PUMs, including the one who will complete the quarantine period today, in the the province’s facility.

Gianggo said none of the PUMs, who are quarantined due to recent travel history to China and its Special Administrative Regions, manifested flu-like symptoms that may be associated with the Covid-19.

Gianggo said the other 14 PUMs are also set to complete their quarantine period in the coming days.

The last PUM among those presently quarantined will be released from the facility on February 29, Gianggo said.
