Lapu-Lapu has 10 more COVID-19 cases — exec
LAPU-LAPU CITY, Philippines — There are 10 more coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) positive cases in Lapu-Lapu city today, April 24, 2020.
This is according to information given by Lapu-Lapu City’s Crisis Manager Nagiel Bañacia.
Bañacia said that seven of the COVID-19 positive cases were from Purok Gabi, Barangay Gun-ob, one was from Sitio Ibabao, Barangay Agus while the barangay where the two other cases belonged to were still being verified.
He said that the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Lapu-Lapu City were already starting to lockdown these areas where the positive cases were located.
He said they were also conducting disinfection in these areas and the City Health Office led by Mary Grace Carungay was already doing contact tracing./dbs
