WITH the mass revocation of the deputation order of civilian agents by the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the 21 members of the Flying Squad Task Force Patrol in Talisay City will now be assigned to augment the police force.

John Yre de los Reyes, city administrator, said that the designation of the 21 Flying Squad members would greatly help the city’s police which has been undermanned.

The revocation of the deputation order was implemented after the Department of Transportation and Communication’s Joint Administrative Order (JAO) 2014-01, which increases all fines and penalties for traffic violations took effect yesterday.

De los Reyes said they have already spoken to Supt. Reycel Carmelo Dayon regarding the reassignment of the 21 job clerks.

The deputies will undergo training before they get deployed.
