Danao City bags housekeeping award

The Danao City government received a P3 million prize  after it was given a Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH) award by the Department of Interior and Local Government recently.

DILG-7 Regional Director Mr. Ananias Villacorta informed Danao City Mayor Ramon D. Durano III about the SGH award.

“This award reflects to the concerned efforts of the employees in the city to attain the vision of the administration,” said an elated Durano.

Durano said he promises to work harder for the the people of Danao.

“Definitely, we will exert more efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the programs and efficiency of the programs and services of the city,” Durano explained.

The DILG awards seals of good housekeeping to local governments for internal housekeeping in four areas—good planning, sound fiscal management, transparency and accountability, and valuing of performance monitoring.
