The city’s new cases are from Barangays Cansojong, Tabunok, and Lawaan 1.

Patient No. 882 is a 28-year-old male resident of Barangay Cansojong who was swabbed on Sept. 15 after he manifested influenza-like illness.

This 58-year-old male resident of Barangay Tabunok underwent a swab test as a requirement for his work resumption. PT 883 tested positive for the infection and will have to undergo isolation until he recovers.

Her exposure to a COVID-positive workmate was the reason why PT 884, a 27-year-old female from Lawaan 1, underwent a swab test on Sept.  16.  Her test results showed that she also has an infection.

As of Saturday, Lawaan 1 still tops the city’s list of COVID-affected barangays with eight active cases followed by San Isidro with seven and Lawaan 3 with six.
