A 22-YEAR-OLD trisikad driver was shot dead yesterday morning in Cordova town in Cebu.
Police said three brothers were tagged as suspects in the killing of John Siquano.
One of the alleged suspects, Marvin Diama, 19, was arrested.
Police said the victim was sitting in his trisikad with his two-year-old daughter when he was shot twice in the chest.
The assailants fled on a motorcycle, police said.
Police said witnesses identified Diama as the gunman, while his brothers Melbert, 22, and Mark, 18, served as lookouts.
Police arrested Diama in his home. Diama’s two brothers could no longer be found.
Marvin denied involvement in the killing
Police said love triangle could be the motive in the attack since the victim’s live-in partner is Melbert’s former girlfriend.
Two spent shells of a .45 caliber bullet were recovered from the crime scene.
