Four more mobile phone numbers were added to the hotline list of Cebu City’s Command and Control Center (C-3).

Smart Communications and its affiliate Sun Cellular yesterday handed over additional phone units for the emergency dispatch center’s use.

Call these numbers for help, even for City Hall services complaints like uncollected garbage and defective lampposts.

“I encourage everyone to save these numbers and give them to their children, family members and other relatives,” C-3 chief Dave Tumulak said.

The phones will be answered at the command center by staff on 24/7 basis together with landline hotline numbers 166 and 262-1424.

Tumulak appealed to the public not to make prank calls since “all calls will be considered emergencies.”

The goal of the command center is to respond to emergencies within five minutes, Tumulak said.
