Almost 100 rookie policemen from the Regional Public Safety Company were augmented to the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) as part of the security preparations for the observance of the All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

Senior Supt. Noli Romana, chief of CCPO, said the reinforcement will be deployed to several cemeteries in the city.

Yesterday, Romana, along with Chief Supt. Prudencio “Tom” Bañas, chief of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7), distributed leaflets to commuters at the bus terminals and cemeteries that they inspected.

Printed on the leaflets are safety tips when traveling or visiting cemeteries.

Police station chiefs were also ordered to put up a public assistance center (PAC) in every cemetery.
