2 die in Cebu City road accidents

Two men died in separate road accidents in Cebu City last Wednesday.

In barangay Mabolo, Louise Earl Garces, 20, was killed after the motorcycle he was driving rammed a billboard pillar at past 3 a.m. Garces’ backrider Archi Nonay was wounded.

Police said the two were heading home to Mandaue City when the accident happened after Garces lost control of the motorcycle.  The two were rushed to the hospital but Garces did not make it alive.

In barangay Lorega, Renante Cabinum Dacayana, 50, was killed after the motorcycle he was driving rammed the center island on New Imus Road past 9 p.m.

Police said the motorcycle was running at high speed before it rammed the center island.
