Barangay Luz 93-1 occupants propose payment deal

THE homeowners association of barangay Luz whose members occupy a province-owned lot covered by Ordinance 93-1 visited Gov. Hilario Davide III to propose a payment scheme for the property.
Escorted by Cebu City Councilor Ma. Nida Cabrera and Interior and Local Governments Undersecretary Francisco “Bimbo” Fernandez, the group proposed to pay for the lot within a 10-year timeframe.
Davide said he already tasked the technical working group headed by Atty. Mark Tolentino to look into the proposal.
