A 34-YEAR-OLD man was shot to death while fetching his daughter from school last Wednesday afternoon in barangay Liong, Dumanjug town, southern Cebu.
Markly Tecson succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
An eight-year-old pupil was wounded in the right arm after she was hit by a stray bullet.
Police are still investigating the motive of the attack.
PO3 Dionesio Tagopa said Tecson and his daughter were about to leave the school when two men on a motorcycle arrived.
Police said the backrider opened fire.
A wounded Tecson ran but was chased and repeatedly shot. The gunman fled using the victim’s motorcycle.
Police said the victim had a 9mm caliber pistol tucked in his waistband.
