Known for her generosity toward her family, Kiray Celis recently fulfilled one of her dreams as she bought her first car.
The “Goin’ Bulilit” alum documented the day she picked up her Jimny, and shared moments from her “dream come true” on her social media pages.
“Today ko matutupad ‘yung isa sa mga pangarap ko. Excited ako kasi matagal ko ‘tong ginusto, kaso, siyempre, inuna natin ‘yung kailangan ng family, kailangan ng mga ibang tao (Today, I get to fulfill one of my dreams. I’m excited because I’ve wanted this for so long, but, of course, we had to prioritize the needs of the family, the needs of other people),” shared the “Return to Paradise” actress, adding how the car serves as a reward for her “hard work.”
“And sabi ko, ‘Ang pinaka-least na pwede kong matulungan is ‘yung self ko (And I said, “The least that I can help is myself).’ But this time, I am spoiling myself, I am rewarding my hard work, ‘yung dugo, pawis, [at] pagod (the blood, sweat, and exhaustion). Lahat ‘yan (All of that), all-in-one,” she said.
The 28-year-old former Kapamilya talent tried to hold back her tears, but eventually gave in to her emotions after she thanked the Lord for another blessing she has received. Someone can be heard in the background saying, “Deserve [mo] ‘yan (You deserve this).”
Celis also extended her gratitude to her followers and even her bashers. “It’s really a dream come true. And kung hindi dahil din sa mga taong nagmamahal sa ‘kin, sa mga nanonood at hanggang ngayon [ay] sumusuporta sa akin — Kahit na bullyhin niyo pa ‘ko, ibash niyo pa ‘ko… Lahat kayo, nang dahil po sa inyo, binigyan niyo po ako ng Jimny,” expressed the former child star, who was accompanied by loved ones.
(If not also for the people who love me, those who watch and, to this day, support me — Even if you bully and bash me… All of you, because of all of you, you gave me a Jimny.)
Among those who came with her and celebrated the special moment with her were her non-showbiz boyfriend Stephan Estopia and sibling Jhopay Celis, who the actress, last year, surprised with a Blackpink concert ticket.
Her boyfriend of more than three years also shared about the “Owe My Love” actress’ achievement on social media, and expressed how proud he is of Celis.

Earlier this year, Celis fulfilled a promise she had made to her mother when she gifted her P1 million ahead of her birthday. The actress previously shared that the money will be allotted for the construction of a new rental house.
