The RAFI Microfinance (RAFI-MFI) and Asia Impact Foundation Inc. (AIFI) had their MOA signing on September 19, 2023.
As I look at the purpose of this partnership, it really resounds a message and alignment to the social mission of RAFI Microfinance. And we are delighted that we have similar organizations such as AIFI — coming together to offer us a partnership and create a ripple effect in the community.
Jonar B. Dorado
COO, RAFI Microfinance
During his opening speech, Jonar B. Dorado, COO of RAFI Microfinance, mentioned, “It is a great honor for us to embark on a partnership such as this. More than the money, it’s the journey with AIFI that we value the most to make an impact on our micro-entrepreneurs.” The partnership will cover two implementations which are:
- Power Pinays ─ Mauswagon Entrepreneur Awards that aims to identify and recognize five (5) deserving RAFI MFI clients with the corresponding grant from AIFI.
- The Entrepreneurs Summit 2023 which provides a venue for RAFI MFI clients to be INSPIRED by the success stories of resilience, empowerment, and Growth of Power Pinay, BUILD NETWORKS with fellow clients and industry leaders through sharing of the best practices and experiences, and lastly, LEARN new knowledge on entrepreneurship.
“As I look at the purpose of this partnership, it really resounds a message and alignment to the social mission of RAFI Microfinance. And we are delighted that we have similar organizations such as AIFI — coming together to offer us a partnership and create a ripple effect in the community. This is a beautiful picture of collaborations that we must continuously promote and do. Because no one can do it all, we need everyone. We need every like-minded organization to work together to create that exponential impact in the lives of the people that we serve (the children and the community),” Dorado added.
“This project marks the beginning of serving our clients, helping their business grow, expanding their entrepreneurial skills, and transforming their lives for the better.” Iris Dorado, VP for Client Engagement and Development Services, said during her speech. “This is a common intervention for RAFI MFI with programs that envisions to empower our clients, so they can elevate their lives and the lives of their families. So, we see this as a strategic alliance between AIFI and RAFI
Microfinance. We see this as a driver that will propel us to our pathway of change towards a healthy and resilient community,” she added.
RAFI Microfinance and Asia Impact Foundation Inc. (AIFI) are now working together to promote the mission and vision of both organizations. Clients, their families, and the community can look forward to more partnerships like this where hopes and dreams are fulfilled.
