CEBU CITY, Philippines — ZIP Sanman Boxing Stable’s Esneth “Hard Hitter” Domingo won his first regional title belt after scoring an 11th round technical knockout (TKO) against Michael Bravo in the “Ultimate Knockout Challenge: Unstoppable” fight card at the Flash Grand Ballroom in Paranaque City, Manila.

Domingo earned his first regional title belt, the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Global flyweight title, after a tooth-and-nail battle against Bravo that concluded with a hellacious TKO win in the 11th round.

The 25-year-old Cebu City based Domingo improved his record to 19 wins with 11 knockouts and two defeats.

Meanwhile, Bravo, 30, of Kidapawan City absorbed his fourth loss with 14 wins and seven knockouts.

Domingo downed Bravo twice in their grueling bout on Monday, December 18.

However, Bravo didn’t go down without a fight. He knocked down Domingo with a counter right hook in the second round.

Domingo lost his balance from the power punch, touched the canvas with his glove, prompting international referee Danrex Tapdasan to do the mandatory count.

Domingo, weathered the huge setback and retaliated with a fourth round knockdown. He landed a left hook followed by a right straight that downed Bravo.

Bravo barely survived the knockdown, but managed to get back on his feet wobbling and went on to survive the round.

Both ring warriors then engaged in a brutal toe-to-toe battle putting everyone watching on the edge of their seats.

In the 11th round, Domingo landed another powerful right straight that knocked down Bravo.

Bravo, again, got back on his feet, but this time, Domingo went for the kill, throwing power punches from all angles.

Tapdasan, who saw enough carnage, stepped in front of the two boxers to stop the fight at the 1:04 mark of the round, awarding the victory to Domingo.

In the other main event, world-rated prospect Carl Jammes Martin (23-0, 18KOs) scored a sixth round knockout versus Thai Chaiwat Buatkrathok (40-9, 26KOs) to win the WBO Global super bantamweight title.
