MANDAUE CITY, Philippines — THREE-METER LONG reticulated python, locally known as baksan, caused a stir in Sitio LPC, Barangay Umapad, Mandaue City at past 8 a.m., today, February 15.

This attracted curious residents and bystanders to gather near the electric post and to take photos or gawk at the snake coiled around the post and near the transformer.

Power was cut off in the area and employees of an electric firm arrived to bring down the snake from the post.

It took more than an hour to bring down the snake and catch it.
