The biggest summer revelry in Cebu is set to happen again to seal off the summer season with a bang. Brace yourselves for the hippest Indie and EDM music festival at the Ipanema Sunscream 2015 this May 23 at the Green Lagoon Park, Compostela, Cebu.

Nearly 30 established DJs across the top clubs from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will gather for a 19-hour of non-stop entertainment along with three international DJs namely Vega from California, DJ Conan from South Korea, and the Korean-Japanese duo Phenomenon. Also performing for the summer festival are the bands Kamikazee, Urbandub, Franco, and Powerspoonz.

The Summer Sunscream is slowly shifting into a sports and entertainment festival, making this year a preparatory step before making it official in their tenth year come 2017 as a way of making the event the grandest summer ender to reckon with. A variation from its previous installments for the past seven years, the Summer Sunscream ’15 will incorporate a couple of sports events on May 22 prior to the huge summer party on the 23rd such as duathlon, on-the-spot beach volleyball tournament and the Dip & Dash tournament.

To date, the eight-year old summer festival is the biggest in Visayas and is attended by at least 7, 000 people annually.
