More Cebu  mayors who belong to other parties have shown interest to join the Liberal Party, said  Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale.

She refused to give out names saying it was still premature. Magpale said the administration has been meeting  with mayors in preparation for the 2016 elections and plans to organize another meeting in every municipality.

Of the 51 towns in the province, 32 mayors are members of the LP.
