By: Calvin D. Cordova May 16,2015 - 12:27 AM

TOWERING import Liam McMorrow posted a monster double-double performance to carry the streaking Barako Bull Energy Colas to a 100-87 win over the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters yesterday in the 40th PBA Governors’ Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

The 7-foot-2 McMorrow coughed up 26 points and 28 rebounds in an astounding effort that helped the Energy Colas tie the GlobalPort Batang Pier at the number one spot with their third win in as many starts.

Solid efforts by their locals also made the difference for Barako Bull.

Acquired from the Barangay Ginebra Kings in a trade prior to the start of the tournament, Dylan Ababou fired 17 points on a seven-for-10 shooting from the field.

JC Intal continued his fine showing  in the tournament as he chipped in 14 points. RR Garcia contributed 13, while Joseph Yeo, also acquired from Ginebra, added 12.

It was Talk ‘N Text first loss in two games as it continued to miss the services of the injured Jayson Castro, Ranidel de Ocampo, Ryan Reyes, Kevin Alas and Aaron Aban.
