THE ALASKA Aces try to continue their resurgent showing in the PBA Governors’ Cup when they battle the struggling NLEX Road Warriors even as sister squads Talk ‘N Text and Meralco aim to bust out of the middle of the pack today in what is expected to be an exciting twinbill over at the Mall of Asia Arena.
After a lackluster showing in the previous conference, the Aces have come out of the gates looking like every bit of the team that owns a proud championship legacy as they have carved out four wins against a lone loss, highlighted by a 92-86 triumph over the Star Hotshots last time out.
The Road Warriors are expected to be a tough foe as they seek to right the ship after losing four of their first five matches, including an 89-108 rout at the hands of the Tropang Texters in their last outing.
