The parents of baby Morgan sought the help of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) in order to get their son’s medical records from St. Anthony Mother and Child Hospital.

Haryl Visaya and Marifhe Ylaya claimed that the hospital refused to release the records. The couple accused the hospital of malpractice and neglect that led to their son’s death.

The baby’s death certificate stated that he died due to acute gastroenteritis and hypotensive shock.
