The two SM malls in Cebu City and Consolacion joined the community in preparing public schools for the opening of classes.
The SM management took part in the repainting of the walls of Mabolo Elementary School fronting the highway as well as in the cleaning and painting of the main building of Consolacion Central School in Poblacion Occidental.
Skilled workers from the public schools provided instructions to the employee volunteers who undertook the finishing work.
The management of SM malls has made a commitment to participate in the annual Brigada Eskwela program and the Adopt-A-School project in support of the efforts of the Department of Education to provide students a better learning environment when they return for another school year.
