Activities for Disability Week in SM

SM City Cebu and SM City Consolacion will join the whole nation in celebrating the 37th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week with this year’s theme “Health & Wellness opportunities for persons with disabilities toward an inclusive development for all.”

Together with the Organization of Rehabilitative Advocates for Inclusion (ORAI), different non-government organizations, lead agencies and SM representatives will join the Holy Mass on July 19, at 9 a.m. in SM City Cebu and SM City Consolacion.

A lecture forum with the topic “Strategic Intervention: Sensory Integration for Teachers” is set for July 21 at 1 p.m. in SM City Cebu conference hall. On July 22, a symposium on “Disability Awareness and Management” for parents and spouses of PWDs will be held in SM City Cebu’s conference hall from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Speakers include Cora Clarin, Dr. Tess Chua and Aleli Ngo.

A showcase of talents from different Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) groups and schools will culminate the activity on July 23 at 1 p.m. at the Event Center of SM City Cebu.
