City Engr. Jose Marie Poblete was appointed by Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama to head the special project management team for the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC).
The team will monitor the construction of the first phase of the city hospital which starts tomorrow and coordinate with other stakeholders in the implementation of the project.

The contractor CE Padilla Construction received the mayor’s notice to proceed last July 16.
Phase 1 should be completed in 21 months or by April 2017 according to the P514-million contract.
