With their top guns delivering big numbers again, the Supportsave Dragons and the Telstra-Teletech Boomerangs sustained their rampaging starts, blasting separate opponents to remain unbeaten in the 11th City Sports Club-Cebu (CSC-C) E-League for Basketball last Saturday at the CSC-C Gym.

The Boomerangs blew out the Calltek Trojans, 82-62, while the Dragons torched the 24/7 Cagers, 95-72, as the victors both improved to 5-0 (win-loss) to share the number one spot in the EVO League.

Sam Jordan Hermosa led the way for the Boomerangs by piling up 23 points, 11 rebounds, six blocked shots and four steals.

Ivan Figuera, Nicklaus Sison and Jaygard Vios scored 12 apiece to provide Hermosa the much-needed support.

Aerl Genebraldo fired a game-high 31 points, Joshua Benedict Sasing added 18 in a losing effort as the Trojans slipped to 1-4.

Like Hermosa, Niño Belande was also in his usual deadly form, powering the Dragons with 29 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Mark Vergara and Adrian Neilburn Dy backed Belande with 17 and 16 points, respectively.

Ralph Belarmino collected 30 points and 14 boards, Lex Lauron chipped in 14 markers and Frank Berina had 10 points but the Cagers slumped to their fourth defeat against a single win.

Also sustaining a solid start in the EVO League are the Kyocera Frontiers, who nailed their fourth win in five games via a 68-51 spanking of the Contact Solutions El-Slazenger.

Junrey Cabarrubias paced the Frontiers with 19 points, nine rebounds, eight steals and four assists.

Ariel Ramonito Edera chipped in 16 points, while Winston Stephen Panal and Jason Rodriguez contributed 10 each.

Contact Solutions, which fell to 1-3, was led by Joseph Lofranco and Gharde Malinao, who finished with 14 and 11 points, respectively.

In the Elite Classic action, the Teleperformance All-Stars snatched their fourth win in five starts after they dumped the SSI Warriors, 89-62.

Dean Junber Escalon (13 points), Gamaliel Bas (11), James Lester Navaja (10) and Ryan Veloso (10) all wound up in double figures to spearhead the All-Stars.

Lawrence Daven Agas piled up 26 points and John Mark Tadefa scored 10 for SSI  but their efforts weren’t enough as the Warriors stumbled to their third debacle in four encounters.
