Three teams in the Don Bosco @ 200 Alumni Basketball Tournament will gun for the lead this Saturday in the resusmption of the event that celebrates the 200th birthday of St. John Bosco.
Team St. Callistus Caravario faces Team Becchi Village at 6 p.m. while Team Blessed Michele Rua meets Team Blessed Laura Vicuña in the 8 p.m. main game at the Don Bosco Cebu Technology Center (DBTC) court in Punta Princesa.
Team Caravario is favored over Team Becchi after the former drowned Team Clifford by 30 points last Sunday, while the latter only edged Team Mertens by three points. Both teams sport identical 1-0 cards in Group B.
Team Caravario will again bank on Tanyu Vidal and RJ Acha, while playing team manager Ryan Alforque and Daryl Diamante are expected to carry Team Becchi with Andrew Isobal and Kenneth Ray Marilao.
Meanwhile, Team Blessed Rua guns for its second straight win against Team Vicuña (0-1) following its close win over Team Srugi in Group A last Saturday in the series organized by the Don Bosco Cebu Alumni, Inc. (DBCAI).
Team Rua has Joshua Cabahug, Malvin Angel Malicdem, Chriad Don Bacalso and playing team manager Chrissar Llegunas to count on while Team Vicuña anchors its offense on playing team manager Giovanni Canceko, Quincy “Jones” Adriano and Jun-Jun Llenes.

3 p.m. Team Don Aloïs Mertens vs Team Blessed Michele Magone by 3PM.
5 p.m. Team Venerable Simon Srugi vs DBTC Passarelle Greywolves
7 p.m. Team Fr. John Peter Clifford vs St. Louis Orione
Twelve teams are participating in the tournament which were formed by draft among alumni professionals who graduated from what was then the Don Bosco Technical High School (DBTHS) since the 70’s.
The tournament is sponsored by 13th Apparel Tactical and Gunstore, 5.11 Tactical Series, KMNH Dy Trading Corporation, KMNH Construction Inc., KMNH20 and the Ong Kin King Group of Companies.
