Three of the country’s most promising boxers, the charismatic Pagara brothers, Albert and Jason, and the rising  Boholano Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo flew to the United States yesterday to continue their training for their first-ever fights in the United States on Oct. 17 at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

‘Prince’ Albert (24-0, 17KOs), Jason 36-3, 22KOs) and Magsayo (11-0, 9KOs) left along with their trainer Edito Villamor for the Pinoy Pride 33: Philippines Versus the World.

The three boxers will continue their training at the famed Wild Card gym of multi-awarded trainer Freddie Roach in Los Angeles, California.

Opponents of the three ALA Gym fighters have yet to be announced.

The main event will have the longest-reigning Filipino boxing world champion and two-division world champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes (36-1-4, 21KOs), who is set for a voluntary title-defense against WBO-rated number eight Juan ‘Pinky’ Alejo(21-3, 13KOs).

Nietes, the reigning WBO Light Flyweight king,  will follow his stablemates a week later.
