Venue woes force Cesafi to cancel volleyball games
VOLLEYBALL games of the 2015 Cebu Schools Athletics Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) that were scheduled to be played today will be cancelled due to the unavailability of venues.
“Wala’y venue nga available. The games today will be moved to Sunday or maybe next week,” said tournament director Ryan Aznar.
Next games in the men’s division will feature the unbeaten University of San Jose-Recoletos Spiking Jaguars (2-0) against the University of Cebu Webmasters (0-1).
Also in the men’s division, defending champions Southwestern University Cobras (1-0) collide with the University of Southern Philippines Foundation Panthers (1-1) while the Cebu Institute of Technology-University Wildcats (0-2) gun for their first victory when they take on the University of the Visayas Green Lancers (1-0).
In the distaff side, the University of San Carlos Lady Warriors (1-2) will try to extend their winning streak to two as they battle the University of Southern Philippines Lady Panthers (1-1).
